Perché "Vite di corsa"? Perché questo libro non vuole essere un romanzo ma una narrazione riguardo una serie di incontri, molti dei quali avvenuti dentro o attraverso l'ambiente delle corse, dove i protagonisti sono appunto "transitati" velocemente negli anni più disparati. Capitani d'industria, piloti, manager, designer, musicisti e persino un astronauta e un calciatore, fra i più famosi, intercettati nelle giornate di un gran premio di F1.
